Geo-targeting

You may appoint different long links for the same short link depending on the country of visitors.

Geo-targeting is useful in order to show ads from different advertisement networks to visitors from different countries.

Follow the next steps:

  1. Create default short link, for example, https://shortest.link/ads for visitors from all countries, except countries listed below.
  2. Create a short link for visitors from the United States: https://shortest.link/ads-us.
  3. Create a short link for visitors from China: https://shortest.link/ads-cn.
  4. Create a short link for visitors from Korea: https://shortest.link/ads-kr.

… etc.

At the end of each geo-targeted short link write “-" and 2-letters country code.

When a visitor attends URL https://shortest.link/ads , he will be redirected to the long link according to his country.
